Middle School Science Bowl Team Competes at Nationals!

The National Science Bowl competition was held on Saturday, May 7th. It was held virtually between 46 regional champion teams from across the country. Ridgeview represented their school very well, winning a place in the first elimination round after 3 preliminary rounds. Unfortunately, the team did not score high enough to be among the top 24 teams and was eliminated from the competition. Throughout the competition, the team showed poise, precision, and gratitude, acting as excellent representatives of their school on a national stage.

The 2021-2022 Middle School Science Bowl Team is:

  • Mateo D. (8th grade)

  • Peter W. (8th grade)

  • Emerson C.(8th grade)

  • Henry B. (6th grade)

In addition to the honor and prestige brought to the school by the performance of these students, the Middle School Science Bowl program will be awarded $500 for making it to the semi-finals, plus $250 for taking a spot in the top 32 teams.
